Isn’t it boring when video platforms like YouTube and DailyMotion mess up your visual experience after ad after ad? Well, stick to Crunchyroll because they took unwanted ads to a whole new level.
In addition to watching ten minutes of ads per 30-minute program, they also found a way to increase the volume of the ad much higher than the actual video content, which makes the ads even more annoying. Here are some ways to remove or disable Crunchyroll ads.
Can I buy the premium service?
Let’s say you’re using the premium service from 2015 to maybe 2020. In that case, you’ve noticed some changes. You may have noticed how you used to watch a single ad before each video. Over time, you’ve noticed that a new ad also appears in the middle of each episode.
What are the ad repetitions? This is the phenomenon by which a Crunchyroll user can see the same ad four times in each video shown and, in some cases, it appears one after another. This happens when the Crunchyroll system is unable to read your cookies or does not have your preferences, so it shows the same cheaper ads repeatedly to fill the ad slots.
Crunchyroll says premium users don’t see ads
What Crunchyroll means is that many of the ads that free users see will not be displayed during their service, but this is not always the case. For example, direct sponsorship will appear in your premium account and the same direct sponsorship will appear in your free account.
Also, if the ads weren’t annoying enough, there is something worse … anime trailers. The problem with anime trailers, especially on Crunchyroll, is that they reveal spoilers. Even the plot tips are not vague enough.
For example, if a character is filmed in one episode and then the trailer for the next one shows a funeral with all his friends around, it doesn’t take much deduction to find out that the character doesn’t survive the gun. shot; even if the trailer doesn’t show the name on the grave.
Is ad blocking paid?
In general, you should stay away from paid blockers and stick with free blockers that come with your applications or web browsers. This is because an ad blocker is only as good as its last update. In many cases, online video portals have teams of programmers working on updates that override ad blockers; therefore, there is always a technological war between ad blockers and video streamers.
However, there is a valid reason to buy some adblockers, if they are especially good at their job. For example, purchasing a premium subscription from Crunchyroll will allow some ads to show, but these ads are usually wired in a way that allows adblockers to choose them easily. In summary, premium users may find that their ad blocking software is more effective.
The other reason to buy ad blocking software is if you are using it on more than one website or application. As mentioned earlier, ads on YouTube can be very frustrating, and ads on DailyMotion are so frequent that they are almost an insult.
So if you buy a third-party ad blocker that works on your favorite streaming video sites, it might be a good investment. Buying it for Crunchyroll seems like you wouldn’t be getting a good cost/benefit ratio.
